04/06/2016 ---> Plastic in hand today & website change today!!! :patriot:

I had been checking multiple times a day, so both happened the same day for me... Here's to hoping yours is soon to arrive as well! :cheers2:

Hopefully it means all the rest of the February and earlier ones are close to being done at this time too.
Congrats man! :thewave
Thanks buddy!

But alas, there is only one other with my married name in Texas, an attorney, but tens, if not hundreds in Texas & U.S. with my maiden name. And many with records, though I had a non disqualifying misdemeanor 10 years ago, in another state. SO, I'll be here awhile.

Ugh. :headscratch :grumble
Gnamaree, we haven't forgotten about you. I was wondering and hoping you heard some good news in the last day or so. But, alas.........

Funny. For those of us who have been following a bit and maybe not posting a lot, know exactly whom you are referring too.

Like I said, we will eventually get our plastic too......
I felt like someone needed to take over when Sweat graduated. Man, that guy knew how to persevere!

Now, on day 78. I am almost frustrated enough to give up... But then I remember SWEATMACHINE! and I stick it out one day more.

(Because honestly, what choice do I have? Go to HEB unarmed?!?! There is some bad looking grapefruit in my HEB, I don't want to face it unarmed. So, I send my wife... and I wait in the Waiting Room.)
Amen brother!

I used to have the magic touch of dialing through. But all I've been able to get is constant busy recordings.

So basically this is just a lottery and you never know when you might be up i guess. I am also assuming the DPS has no ideal what in order means , i think i may just go to another state and do mine so i can get it back in a timely manner.
I would really like to take a tour of where they do this at and see the circus act also really wish i knew someone that worked in this area and ask them what really goes on behind closed doors but i might not want to know.

Looks like I'll be getting up from the table soon. I live outside Austin, so I'm hoping today (optimistic), or in the next couple days to have plastic in hand. The long slog is just about over for me. Stay strong brothers and sisters... Your day is coming.

I NEVER got an email conformation, but I did get an email response back from the DPS:RSD and they said they had all my stuff on Feb. 12th as well.
Now here is to hoping I get home and see plastic...or at least a website change would be nice. :waiting:

Three of us took the course together and our submittals were all with in a day or two - one of us just received a letter from DPS stating the the instructor's license had expired - apparently what happened was that the instructor put his LTC number on our CHL100's instead of his instructor's number - back to the Southern Guns (the gun shop that hosted the course) to obtain updated CHL100's for resubmittal -

This is fun,
Larry

Oh that is not good at all...something that is totally out of your control. Sorry bud.
