Not sure why the email took so long to get. I called after 7 days because I expected the email in 2 days like I had heard. They confirmed they had everything. I hope its no Indication of the wait. So now I wait!!

4/2 Well still nothing. One call a few weeks ago I was told I was through background and just waiting for someone to match up my paper work which he confirmed they have had since 1/13.

I have the same confirmation date and the same story from RSD... Through background and just waiting for "data input and printing..."

I'm right on the same dates as you guys. I did get a call on 3/30 from an RSD sup that told me that mine was being finalized up and gonna be sent to print later that day.... However, here I sit. NO CHANGE, NO PLASTIC.

Hopefully we'll all get them this coming week. That be nice, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I also have the same dates. I gave up calling because I wasn't getting any useful infoinfo, just the 12 week message.

I have a clean record and worked at the same job for 10 years now so it is frustrating watching Feb applicants get plastic.

I couldn't help myself so I called again. Finally some positive news. I have been approved and sent to printing on 4/1.

Looks like I'll be getting up from the table soon. I live outside Austin, so I'm hoping today (optimistic), or in the next couple days to have plastic in hand. The long slog is just about over for me. Stay strong brothers and sisters... Your day is coming.

3/23/16: Received response from DPS (as the result of a call to my state rep): Just wait a bit longer, should get to it next week
3/30/16: Received follow up call from DPS: Approved to be sent to print on 3/31 (Day 75)
4/06/16: Received another follow-up call from DPS - Sent to print on 4/5/16, Please allow 7-10 more days to receive plastic

I came across this forum a few days ago and figured I'd contribute to the cause by posting my current time line.

1/27 - posted application
1/29 - confirmation of application
1/29 - CHL 100 uploaded and received by RSD
2/9 - finger prints complete

Now I'm just patiently waiting like the masses

Just got off the phone with RSD and allegedly they have 2 days left to complete my background check but it should be out tomorrow..... We'll see
