I was able to to get my dismissal papers from the court, but am not sure how to post it. If I could email it to someone that does, maybe it would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Go here and choose the appropriate items from the dropdown list and submit. Obviously you'll need to have the supporting documents in electronic for before you begin. :tiphat:

Yes, it came through fine. The court papers says you "completed pre-trial intervention." I'm not familiar with that term, but it sounds like to me it's deferred adjudication. But believe me, I'm not up on legalese at all.

I'm sure someone will come along shortly, and offer their opinion. :tiphat:

Pre-trial intervention is not the same a deferred adjudication.

They differ in that the pre-trial intervention the DA does not file charges if the terms are met and the case is dismissed.
Therefore there is no conviction like in deferred adjudication.

The PDF that OP posted shows that the judge dismissed the "above number cause" [criminal case]. :smash:

I am not a lawyer or judge, but IMO the OP is good to go on his LTC.

IMO the OP is go on this LTC.
:iagree: Case in point: the uploaded file was a motion to dismiss. There are no longer any charges.

Well guys, I called dps today and after 16 minutes on hold I reached a human. Told the lady what was up, and she immediately told me I needed to contact my lawyer, she couldn't answer anything for me. Feeling pretty dumbfounded I called back in hopes I would reach a differnt agent. I did, and she was very helpful. Forwarded all my info to the eligibility office and they called back within a couple hours. As long as I submit the form I did on here, they said I was good to go! Looking forward to taking the class.
