Got a letter today from AG Ken Paxton

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

The first line of this letter is concerning. If you stopped reading here, which states that the complaint was resolved after the sign was removed at the end of the gun show, it sounds like that was A-ok. . If they just put up and take down before/after gun shows, this letter would make it sound like the complaint was resolved, when that is definitely not resolved.

So it's a revolving door.

Great, just great.

"Well, the show is only two days, so we took it down within the allowed three days..."

This will go over well with the TXLeg.

The good news is that the last two shows at Fort Worth just had "no loaded weapons" signs.
"The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't so." - Ronald Reagan, 1964

30.06 signs only make criminals and terrorists safer.

But it doesn't make sense to stop reading there. This part is the key part to me.

Additionally, the OAG received an email from Deputy City Attorney Richard Risinger stating the City of Pasadena is no longer allowing gun show operators to post Texas Penal Code 30.06 signs or concealed handgun signs at the Pasadena Convention Center. Therefore, the OAG is closing this complaint.

Therefore, the complaint process worked as designed.

It's just the way the letter said that since they took down the signs after the show ended, that the complaint could have been closed at that point. The extra just sounds like that - extra.
