De Blasio credits less guns for more stabbings

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

How does anyone know that there are "fewer guns on the street"? If that is something you can measure, is the lower number due to guns no longer being in the hands of criminals?

Statements made by the political class in the modern era often lack the ring of truth and supporting evidence. Are these desperate pleas for an alternate reality (spin to the agenda du jour) and pathetic attempts to sway public opinion through mis-information, simple utterances of mad men no longer held -- and certainly not obliged to feel -- accountable by we, the People, or maybe both?

The mayor claims that since there are so many fewer guns on the street, officers can now focus on criminals using knives and razors.

He says catching people committing minor infractions, so-called "broken windows" policing, is the key to getting weapons off of the streets.
This guy De Blasio is a genius!

I have never understood why leftists believe it is more honorable to be stabbed or beaten to death than to be shot. I have never heard of a dying man who was grateful that he had been stabbed and didn't have to die from a gunshot.

Liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.
De bloodio and his ilk have a optic chiasm that is so twisted and skewed, it leaves one wondering, was he born in a laboratory somewhere?
