I'm at 64 days. No news. No updates. No status change.

I've called them a total of 3 times in the last 3 weeks and I get the same thing each time: "You're all good. Just wait."

 :banghead: :mad5

That's the number. As soon as they start talking dial 1. If you can't get through, they're probably busy. I've had good luck around 10:30-11am.

You and I completed our submission on the same day - 1/5/16. Hopefully soon for both of us. I'm guessing end of next week....or so.

Really? I submitted everything including fingerprints on Dec. 26 and still haven't heard anything. Hopefully soon!

Yes and even last week when I called they were still telling me that most likely my paperwork was lost and I might have to restart the process. Then Sunday night I checked the site and my status had changed and I got it in the mail yesterday, called a buddy who took it a few weeks before me and he checked the site and it changed and his was in the mailbox yesterday as well.

Same for me except everything was electronically submitted on 12/22. Zero run-ins with the law.

I see everyone talking about checking their status online. However, when I go to the Texas.gov site and log in on the Regulatory Services Division, I get a page that says "Choose Service", and below that all it says is "LICENSE APPLICATION STATUS: If you have a pending License to Carry a Handgun application, please allow sufficient time for processing. If you have not already done so, please submit all of the items listed on the checklist you received. DPS will notify you by mail if further information or additional documents are required."

Then below that the only selection is Apply for instructor Certification. There is no selection for checking status. How are you checking status online? I filed all my paperwork online via the website.

I've also tried calling, but always get a recording stating that "due to high call volume, our agents are unavailable to assist you at this time". I've tried calling all hours of the day.

I also emailed a week ago inquiring, with no reply.

Like others, I received a confirmation email on December 28th from them stating they have all my paperwork and to allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing.

You guys aren't kidding when you say it's a waiting game....

Kory
