11/21/2015 CHL 100 Class and Online Application
12/03/2015 Fingerprints, Submission of all forms, and received confirmation email.

As of 01/28/2016, no website change and nothing in the mail... Have a couple non-disqualifying misdemeanors, maybe that's why. :banghead:
Called the DPS today and apparently I need to send paperwork of my born abroad citizenship. Sounds cool to say you born in the UK but a real pain when doing any legal paperwork in the USA/Texas. Murica! :patriot: :txflag:

I asked how long it would be after I submitted the paperwork and they say another 3-4 weeks. Starting to loose my mind :mad5
01/31/2016 Uploaded Proof of citizenship.
02/03/2016 No confirmation email received so I called and they said the website was slow and they documents were still loading on the site and to call back Friday if I still didn't have a confirmation email.
02/05/2016 Still no confirmation email, so I called again and the representative confirmed all the documentation was received. Hopefully I'll get my plastic eventually... :headscratch :totap: :waiting:

Any news Kms? Have you called yet & spoke to them?

I thought I was impatient.

1/4 -- started online application
1/6 -- completed course
1/8 -- Fingerprints (IdentToGo)
1/8 -- Finished app online uploaded all docs
1/11 -- confirmation Email

No news yet,but lurking about on this board has kept me from going nuts.

BTW: That confirmation question--the Alamo is still standing.

Got confirmation today (verbally) she said my process has officially started 2-13 & I have 60 more days, even though she confirmed my app was received on Dec 10th. I said "So I should be looking for my license in the next 2-4 weeks" & she said "no you will not have your license in that time, it will be 60 days" that was our conversation. :rules: :cryin

Has anyone been told that 60 days verbage & then got their license fairly soon afterwards???? She said 60 days from this past Saturday 2-13.....is it just a canned response even though I've confirmed that all doc's were received back in December...

Its gotta be. I'm on day 51, have never called and am hesitant to call because I'm sure it'll just lead to frustration. I'm frustrated enough as it is...

They said "2-3 weeks" to me a couple weeks ago and they said "90 days" to me yesterday. Who the hell knows?

Still nothing and Friday makes 9 weeks since I received the email saying they received all of my documents. On the application page it states "allow 6-8 weeks for processing...I understand that I filed my app the week before Christmas, but that doesn't explain the people who filed after me who already have their plastic.

They said to allow 90 days in total. From when that 90 days begins is anyone's guess.
