Let the wait begin...

Took my CHL class 12/17
Application response 12/19
documentation submit received 12/21
Finger printing done 12/22
Website change 2/26/2016
Plastic in hand?

With the holidays I am not getting my hopes up...

Just called and got through. My finger prints arrived 12/23 on indents website they told me they received them the 31st of December. BFW they were closed that day to which I reminded her (use to work for the state know their holidays well). So I'm not at their 30 day mark but yea they did receive all my documents though...

I pointed this out to her nice lady and she's going to look into it for ... Ok. So I'm a little irritated.

I submitted my class cert on Nov. 16 and got my license on Dec. 23, so I figure Thanksgiving only added a couple of days. Interestingly, my license showed up the day after the website changed.

Well ive called several times and ive gotten several different answers... One lady told me she couldn't find my paperwork. One told me I didn't finger print until 12/29... Which is bull shat I even checked on indint they go my prints the day after I did them on 12/22.

Honestly I think I am getting the run around as I applied under the military exemption status yes is free for us. And why shouldn't it be we've been targets by scum bags for years... I have seen people getting theres on other chat rooms with the same time frame as mine in the last week. Today I got well I don't see it in processing or anywhere else for that matter...

Seriously getting irritated. I don't see why we need a damn license anyways if your a legal gun owner whats the big deal. Plenty of states require jack _______ and they have some pretty low crime rates.

I'm on nearly the same timeline as you are. I got my confirmation email 12/21 and fingerprinted 12/23.

RDS/DPS will not give you a straight answer over the phone, and checking the website is just as useless. I'm at 58 days today. I called them yesterday, and about 2 weeks ago and all I got from them was "we have your documents, please wait another 2-3 weeks."

I've seen people with timelines just ahead of us report receipt of their cards so hopefully we're just another few days away. I'm pretty damn frustrated with it too.

God I hope so. Ive seen a few that have received that are after the holidays as well. Its getting kind of annoying to say the least. They put a ringer on my buddy last year 7 months to get them all the docs they wanted and then they still wouldn't issue his card. Then last month it suddenly appeared in his mailbox. He thought it was his new drivers license for a minute LOL...

Who knows they all seem lost in space when you call so... Ive just started getting holsters and crap and practice carried in my home a few times to see how well they work concealed. I have some outside the waist band holsters but ill have a shirt over my gun for sure still just easier access...

That's about all you can do. Wait patiently and practice carrying at home. I've been doing the same.

I'm doing the same. I've been carrying my revolver around the house for about 2 weeks with inside and outside waistband holsters. Still haven't settled on one yet. I ordered an Urban Carry holster that should be here in a couple days. I'm thinking I will like the way it rides better than what I already have, and I can get used to the two handed draw.

I submitted my docs on Dec 18th. RSD told me yesterday that I was approved and sent to printing. Almost ready for the Wally Walk!

I called last night and was told it comes out of background today or Monday and should be sent to print after that... I'll call again Tuesday for shits and giggles.

Well I called today as I didn't see a status change or anything like the guy last week told me on Thursday. And its been sent to print. Still no site change so I'm not going to get stupid excited until it shows up or I see a status change.

But it was the same guy I spoke to Thursday. BTW guys call between 6 and 6:30pm they have extra staff to answer the phones at that time.

That's the info I came here to get. I try calling on my breaks at work and never get past the "too busy call back later so sorry" recording.
