Called RDS 2/5/2016 found out that they have started the background check and waiting for it to return back from the FBI. Just wanted to post the timeline so other can use it as a reference.

Wow that's fairly quick. Some of us in here including me have their confirmation date as 12/21 or around that date and we still haven't been entered into the system.
