Legal victory for gun rights

Good news. Federal 4th Circuit Court of Appeals upholds challenge to Maryland ban on so-called large capacity magazines. The most encouraging part is that the court applied what lawyers call strict scrutiny to state-imposed firearms restrictions. Strict scrutiny makes it hard for discriminatory laws to stand. That is the same scrutiny used in free-speech and racial-discrimination cases.
