357 SIG shooters ?
Anyone here carry/shoot 3357 Sigs, opinions ?
I have been carrying a 2nd Gen G32 for over 12 yrs and really do like it, rarely see anyone with one.
What ammo do you carry if so ? I like issued Ranger T or Gold Dots with Cor-Bon just as good.

My EDC is a Sig P239 in .357 Sig. I carry DT Defense 125gr HP, and I practice with 125gr ball reloads from Georgia Arms.

I sold mine, but when I had G32 I carried 125 gr Speer Gold Dots.
Great round.

I'm considering a G32. May I ask why you sold it?parabelum wrote:I sold mine, but when I had G32 I carried 125 gr Speer Gold Dots.

Re: 357 SIG shooters ?
At the time, this was maybe 2 years ago, I had hard time getting ammo at reasonable cost.
So I got wild hair and sold all my 357 sig gear, switched to .40 and now I'm going to 9.
In the hindsight, I should have kept it and bought a conversion barrel to .40 or 9.
It was a great carry piece. Very reliable (over 1200 rds down the tube with only one FTE, and I blame cheap ammo for that).

Thought it might be related to finding ammo or cost. Thanks!parabelum wrote:At the time, this was maybe 2 years ago, I had hard time getting ammo at reasonable cost.

Re: 357 SIG shooters ?
My local Walmart always has it, they said I was about the only customer, it does have a different recoil curve from a 9-40-45 but is very flat shooting and a great defensive round, I switch from the Sig and 45 acp occasionally, really prefer the Sig. Even a few yrs ago when ammo wed in short supply it seemed easy to get as not many shot it. I have never had a problem with my G32. I had a chance to buy a G33 at a great price ($300) and kick myself for not doing it, they are a handful.

My EDC is a Springfield XD service in 357 Sig. I carry Gold Dots and practice with 125 gr Winchester white box. There is no other round I would rather carry. My brother also carries 357 Sig. A Glock 32.

Re: 357 SIG shooters ?
I have a Sig P226 in .357Sig flavor, but prices of .357Sig ammo were getting way too out of hand to shoot. Even online prices were only a mere $1-$1.50 less. Bought the conversion barrel for it to .40 and never looked back.
After every range visit, I put my .357 barrel back in and load it up with Speer hollow points I bought back when (I have a lot of SD boxes still) to keep on my night stand.
If you know of a place where to find cheaper prices for .357Sig, let me know for I enjoy to shoot in that caliber.

Re: 357 SIG shooters ?
Back and forth from Sig P239 SAS .357sig and P229 .357sig. I like the round a lot better than I do the .40. The .40 to me is snappy and the .357sig is more of a push than snap.
I use Gold Dot 125gr HP.
