Your open carry experience in a business. (Poll)
I am only looking for input about Open Carrying on Private Property (Business).
Since some individuals were using the "other" as a no I removed the option but it reset the poll. Sorry folks. I thought the intent of the thread was clear as well as my original post.

I went to a crowded Wally World on a Friday night, and inside a few gas stations. Not a single issue.

You forgot one glaring option to the question "Have you open carried in a business since 1/1/2016?"

Of course, we are a whole ONE DAY into this, but yes...and with no problems.
1. ATM
2. Gas Station (heavily visited)
3. Large Local Restaurant (full of patrons and staff)
4. Walmart (always crowded, always camera monitored)
Setting: Mostly conservative College Town of about 35,000 (population).

Walmart with lots of customers and employees. No seemed to care much. I'm going to OC tomorrow at church. I just the LE that we use for security and street crossing know that church carry is legal.

Walmart, Kroger, various stop and robs, Boot Barn, Academy, McDonald's no one even noticed I was carrying or if they did they didn't run screaming and lose their minds.

just my unsolicited opinion, but I don't see that ending well, or having a "positive influence" on the congregation ... or future possibility of concealed carry in the church.
Do as you will though.

Went to brookshire in springtown yesterday, grabbed a few things and when I was talking with the cashier, we talked about it being New Years day, she said she hadn't seen anybody with their guns, I took two steps to clear the counter blocking her view, pointed at my holstered 1911 and her exact response was Oh Cool!
Took my wife to kohls in Lake Worth which I expected to be posted, it wasn't nobody seemed to notice, walmart in Lake Worth caught a few stares and that was it!

Carried in Walmart this morning. From what I saw there and at a convenience store/gas station I stopped at, I was the only one carrying at either place. No looks, no comments, no problems.

I am not interested in those that haven't carried only those who have. Read the title of the thread.Teamless wrote:You forgot one glaring option to the question "Have you open carried in a business since 1/1/2016?"

I just think it would be interesting to know the # of people who ACTUALLY OC'd vs those who have not / chose not to.Right2Carry wrote:I am not interested in those that haven't carried only those who have. Why not create your own poll asking those questions? I'd respond to that poll.Teamless wrote:I just think it would be interesting to know the # of people who ACTUALLY OC'd vs those who have not / chose not to.Right2Carry wrote:I am not interested in those that haven't carried only those who have.
