Poll: What's Your EDC CCW Holster?
Re: Poll: What's Your EDC CCW Holster?
Aliengear Cloak Tuck 2.0 (with a Stealthgear USA IWB mag carrier). I also have a leather crossbreed style IWB from D M Bullard (along with iwb mag carrier from him). Thinking about trying out a Raven Concealment Eidolon. Contractor buddy of mine gave it a thumbs up. Also seems like it'd reholster easier since it isn't soft backed.

Stealth gear USA onyx holster. So far it has performed great, no break in period and very comfortable.

I carry my G27 in an ITuck by Tuff Products. Waiting on my pit bull tactical nocturnal holster to come in so I can start carrying my Sig 220 with light. That holster can be IWB or OWB but till I get it I'm not sure which my preference will be.

Re: Poll: What's Your EDC CCW Holster?
For my 3rd gen S&W used a Crossbreed type homemade. When I got my Shield I used a Remora until my Alien Gear hybrid arrived. Now just use simple kydex IWB from On Your Six Designs.
Still use the Remora around the house from time to time and for keeping the gun on my bedside table at night. Problem I have with it is that the mag release sometimes gets press through normal wearing. I'm carrying on the left side now and figure that is the issue. Probably wouldn't happen on the right side or if I reversed the mag release.
The Alien Gear, which I bought because I would have had to order more leather and kydex and I was too lazy, is very comfortable but the leather closes up so much it is hard to re-holster. Didn't have that issue with my home made. Don't know if it is a design issue since the shell isn't full width or their using cow hide instead of horse hide like I used.
Since On You Six is local and very inexpensive decided to give them a try. Great company to deal with. Retention was too much and I needed a slightly larger belt hook. Both done while I waited with no charge. I had thought the plain kydex would have been uncomfortable but was pleasantly surprised that not to be the case. I find it almost as comfortable as my hybrids. Can wear all day with no issues.

I got it 3yrs ago from Bradley's Custom Gun Works - Facebook
However, be warned. It took almost 5-6 months to get it made and delivered.
Ask and check for waiting time and/or lead time for delivery.

Thanks for the tip, and the warning! Seems their email account has been deleted. I guess I'll look around some more.Beiruty wrote:I got it 3yrs ago from Bradley's Custom Gun Works - Facebook

Re: Poll: What's Your EDC CCW Holster?
I voted the tuckable IWB holster, but...
I wear a Milt Sparks Versa Max II with every pistol I have, 1911's and a Glock 19. If I am needing to tuck the shirt, I put on the kydex clips on my VMII for my Commander. 99% of the time, I carry the G19. And it is strictly in the untucked mode

My XD45 lives in a Triple T IWB holster. Still breaking it in, but so far no complaints.
