NRA is a Terrorist Organization

#1

Post by Crossfire »

The New York Daily News is calling on the State Dept to designate the NRA as a terrorist organization.

How far down this road to crazytown are we going to drive?

This stuff just makes my head spin. Some of these people are certifiable.

If you say something loud enough and often enough it soon rings of truth to the soft-minded. This is part of the collectivist's playbook that we see all the time, from demonization of tools using made up or mis-used terms (gun-violence and assault rifle come readily to mind) to the whole spectrum of PC vernacular and group-think ("Black Lives Matter", the entire LGBT agenda, the "war on women", etc...). Yes, Komrades, we must destroy values and institutions so we can replace them with the State for the good of all -- after all equal results (misery for all) MUST be better than equal opportunity (where work and risk-taking offer rewards to the individual and society as a whole).

And where, in the comfort of the velvet cage of government managed personal safety, is there room for the rugged individual?

I am at my happiest when I'm in a situation of properly, rationally managed risk. I'm not an adrenaline junkie. I just feel most at peace when in a well-found vessel and the shoreline has fallen from view to my stern.

If that makes no sense, substitute motorcycles or light aircraft for the yachting metaphor. Just don't take danger away from me, that's the evolutionary pressure that makes me a better person. Let me prepare and manage the risks I choose to face.

Every gun on a law-abiding gun carrier is a vote against evil even if the gun never speaks. Carrying a gun for the sake of carrying a gun amounts to being part of a prevailing wind against violence, and that is a good thing.

If that still makes no sense, the New York Daily News is always looking for new readers.:

I guess my signature line is now a caution sign to socialists working against core values upon which this country was founded. Well let them worry; I stand firmly against their anti-American values.

We need a petition to have Moms Demand Action and other Blomberg organizations deemed terrorist organizations.

Sadly, I don't think anyone on this forum is the least bit surprised. It's liberalism and logic need not apply. Seeing how they want to call us terrorist now I would assume that means they support drone strikes against us and our families. I sincerely doubt they would be satisfied with just having the label of terrorist applied to the NRA and would support a physical war against us.

Wow, I'm an NRA member AND a climate change "denier"... If I was a patched MC member I'd have a trifecta.

They'd get me for Terrorism, RICO, and being a member of a Criminal Street Gang. It's going to be hard to leave my house without risk of arrest.

Isn't the base definition of terrorist someone who uses terror to disrupt the day to day operations of people? Then MDA, MAIG, for that matter the entire Democratic party should be classified as terrorist organizations.
