Yup. Slow as molasses when it loads at all, "Too Many Connections" the rest of the time

Restart Apache and MySQL and see if/when problem comes back. Site might be getting crawled, or pages are hanging leaving sql connections open, and not closing them.

Slow to load pages, and I am getting en error, usually when going to the 2nd page of a topic:

It seems to be better, but I still sometimes get the SQL ERROR message when trying to view active topics.
