:iagree:  :nono: :nono:

How do you know they hadn't started it? They do not always keep the online status updated contemparaneously. Mine didn't change until the week t as mailed.
I know because I got an email yesterday stating it was just "escalated" & sent to a supervisor for processing (which was stated my my post update)

Escalated doesn't mean started. It may be it was escalated because they haven't heard back regarding your background checks.
where did I say "escalated" = started? in the email where it clearly states that my app was "escalated AND SENT TO A SUPERVISOR FOR PROCESSING" is what I was equating to "getting started". but yeah, whatever. :thumbs2:

Good luck with your app. Hope you get your license soon.

I've been perusing this thread while waiting on my plastic so I figured I should post my wait time as an additional data point.

Submit initial application: 6/12/2015
CHL class and subsequent CHL-100 submission: 6/13/2015
Fingerprints: 6/18 with e-mail confirmation of receipt on 6/22/2015
Status change (appearance of "Change Information" column): 7/2/2015
Arrival of license in mailbox: 7/6/2015

Only 11 business days (not counting July 3) from the time all the paperwork was submitted.
It sure surprised me to see the change of status so soon. :patriot:

whats up everybody :tiphat:
just joined this forum since i found the environment to be great and there was a lot of good insight here that i could soak up!! :bigear:

waiting for my chl has not been fun at all and i often catch myself checking more than 3 times a day to see if anything has changed on the status website..until today that is!!!

i logged in this morning and finally saw the change of address, report stolen card etc. links up on the site which leads me to believe that my license should be coming in anytime now.

Anyways i figured id post my timeline for anyone that may have done it around the same time as well.

5/16/2015 CHL class completed
7/6/15 Initial Application submitted & acknowledged
7/6/15 Submitted supporting documents (CHL-100)
7/7/15 Acknowledgement of supporting documents received
7/8/15 Fingerprints completed
7/24/15 Change of address, etc links showed up on status check website.
Now just waiting to see when it shows up in the mail!! hopefully it'll be here soon!!

Just thought I'd post my time line.
All documents submitted with conformation by 1/12/15.
Sent several emails with no reply 2/15 and a week later.
Had a bad ATV accident 3/10 and spent 2 months in my bed and the last thing on my mind was my CHL.
Called 7/13 and they said there was a glitch somewhere our bad.
7/24/15 I got email saying CHL was mailed 7/23
Now I wait for the mail.

My timeline:

4-5 CHL Application online
5-30 CHL Class & Fingerprints ( rained out 5-16 )
5-31 Submitted CHL 100 and support documents online.
6-11 Submitted documents online again
6-17 Submitted Documents again, this time individually.
6-19 Mailed in CHL-100 and support documents.
6-22 Received Confirmation e-mail of online document upload.
6-22 Received a second confirmation e-mail from RSD ( I had 3 total documents, including CHL-100 ) -- ** would be nice if they listed what files they received **
7-3 Called DPS to Verify all documents received, was told they had received everything on 6-30, and background check was underway.
7-24 Status changed online
7-27 Plastic received --- With wrong picture/signature :P ( Still good enough to carry though ) Spoke with rep and a new one will be printed and mailed.
side note : Their IVR currently requests people wait for 30 days after application sent before calling.
9-17 Still no reprint plastic. Sent Secure e-mail to RSD. Received confirmation from RSD same day.
9-25 Received reprint plastic. Correct picture/signature this time, can actually use as ID if I wanted. Since it's in September now, my reprint is LTC instead of CHL

ETA : September entries
