Can anyone point me to the most current (truthful) statistics relating felony convictions of CHL's as related to both the general Texas population AND Texas LEO's
I do have the 2013 data from the DPS website for CHL's related to general population, but can't seem to find the most recent (if available), nor can I find the statistical comparison relating CHL and LEO offenses/convictions.
I'm on a "mission", so any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
jd

Re: Statistics for Felony Convictions
This thread reminded me that I had not finished updating and uploading the data for 2013 released by DPS. The new data is now uploaded. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=17975" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I analyze all offenses listed by DPS, not just felonies, so that may not be what the OP needs. Most offenses are rather easily identified as a felony or misdemeanor, but not all.
Chas.

Re: Statistics for Felony Convictions
Thank you Andy for the heads up, and thank you again, Mr. Cotton, for the very timely update.

edit to add: the inclusion of "all offenses" is more than fine for the information I need to present. It probably wouldn't have made a lot of difference in the overall stats if jay walking, littering and parking tickets were added to the mix.
