A gun control measure I can support

I read an idea on line. It was pretty simple.
Start a petition or propose a law, California would be a good place. Get Television, Video Game, Movie and Streaming producers, actors and directors to pledge that they will not show, portray, or inference a single gun, rifle, pistol, or other 2nd amendment protected arm in any of their future productions.
Would this backfire on me? As Hollywood would all gladly sign up? Calling my bluff?
Obviously a law would be unconstitutional, like most gun grabbing laws already are.
Would stabbing become the new thing on TV? Or would we go back to the fist fights of the Western days? Bombs?
