Virginia adding 250k to their Corrections budget

If the reporting is correct (that 92 of 95 total counties are already going sanctuary in one form or another) than $250k won't even scratch the surface of what they would need...

What they should do is apply that money to recall elections.

It sure sounds like they are from the Beto school of thinking where people are just going to comply with the new regulations. The numbers seem absurdly low for any kind of funding of mult-day activities. Perhaps those are simply place holders where they are going to add zeros when the bills actually pass. Or maybe they just plan to lie to their voters about how much this is going to actually cost and then show up in front of a microphone in shock and dismay when they need lots more money.

I believe they left out some expenses, hazard pay for National Guard, Death and Disability benefits for National Guard, Funeral Expenses for National Guard, Long Term Mental care for National Guard, things will get expensive quick if Northam decides to do confiscation!
Personally I think he'll hit some serious issues on his road to being a dictator! Everytime a despot has tried to disarm the people in this country they achieved a war they hadn't bargained on!

$250,000 seems like a ridiculously small sum for what they are proposing to pass. It’s not even going to cover the life insurance payouts for 1 or 2 of the goons they send to take the guns.

More seriously, I have a friend near Fairfax who says that his local media contains none of these stories. I asked him about the billboards that are supposedly going up and he hasn't seen any of those either. He drives around the D.C. fairly regularly. I wonder how many Virginians, outside of the ones in he protest groups, even know that this is happening?
