Sammy explains the insanity of disarming the public and how it actually puts law abiding citizens at risk. He discusses how the mafia would NEVER be disarmed by gun control laws and puts mass shootings in perspective.

I don't get the impression Sammy completely understands what the 2nd Amendment is about (not duck hunting or only about home defense)… but he does discuss the issue from the viewpoint of a highly experienced and calculating murderer.

He was on track until he said "limit the power - why anyone needed a .30 caliber military gun or a semi auto that you can fire 200 rounds in 10 seconds. People should have a bolt action to defend their home and family. "

Yep.

I know I've long preferred an AR-15 for home defense and I'm sure Sammy would agree that an AR-15 is better than any bolt action rifle for home defense.

But the 2nd Amendment is not simply about home defense but also national defense and political power.

That said … the Parkland shooting shows that if the authorities don't prosecute dangerous individuals for their laundry list of crimes that the criminally insane will be able to purchase guns like law abiding people. The Parkland shooter attempted to kill a child long before the Parkland school shooting... but was never prosecuted so he was allowed to by firearms. Letting the criminally insane have control of military weapons is adding fuel to the fire of senseless killings. I guess that's one of the reasons I voted against Hillary ;-)
