An argument often made in support of severe gun control is that we lead the world in mass shootings despite having a small share of the world's population. That claim is based on an academic study, the study perhaps having been designed to yield a predetermined result. A new study by John Lott shows that we have fewer mass shootings than our percentage of world population would predict.

Who'll make book on when ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC/etc will report this?

Mass killings vs mass shootings.
America in most places allows almost free ownership of guns, most of the world does not.
Thus, just from the title, it is biased.
