I am a proud American, an unhyphenated American. I am the most fortunate type of American, one who has won life’s lottery by escaping communism. My family endured persecution, physical risk, and constant intimidation by the secret police to legally enter the United States.

It is not guns that tyrants fear.

It is gun owners.

It is people willing to take on the burdens and responsibilities of gun ownership. It is people willing to exert themselves to secure the blessings of liberty. It is people who do not believe the government is always a benevolent force.

Guns and gun owners are all that stand between slavery and freedom. They are all that stand between our Constitution and its destruction. Between your freedom to decide for yourself what to think, what to say, what to do and slavery.

Don’t allow the United States of America to descend into another failed communist experiment. Far too many have already died, far too many still suffer under its yoke, all over the world.

We remain the last bastion of freedom and liberty on this Earth.

Don’t surrender our freedoms.

Communism didn’t just kill its enemies. It killed millions of its own adherents as well. You, the progressive, the moderate, the leftist, the socialist, are just further down the kill-list, that’s all.

So, who benefits?

People like: Nicolae Ceaușescu, Stehlin, (whose real name isn't Stehlin) recognize, Pol Pot, Mao, Castro, the weaselly Chaves, the list is endless of those who believed the left had the answer to the worlds problems.

Not only do they not - they add to them.

Monsters in charge of countries and are leftists are just that ...monsters.

Monsters in charge of countries on the right, are monsters too, just less so...

They'll never be an country filled with justice as a practice.

Indeed! Most won't take for granted the freedoms we have here because they have seen the other side first hand. One could say they are more educated about tyranny than some political science or history majors. Those who fight to come here LEGALLY, those who desire to live free, and those who are proud to call themselves "Americans" WITHOUT the hyphen; I have a TON of respect for those people.

Some of our best Citizens are those who came here legally and became naturalized citizens.
I have been lucky enough to meet several.

Of the millions of Americans out there, my absolute favorite of them all was naturalized back on 2010, and now carries daily.

My DIL was born in Hungary. She became an American citizen just last month. Growing up in Hungary allowed her to see what real freedom is like, and she is an adamant advocate for our basic rights, including 2A

I had a professor in graduate school who became a naturalized citizen while I was taking his class and he invited me to the Naturalization Ceremony. He had a BA with Honors from the University of New Delhi, an MA from Cambridge, and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Illinois. HE was the speaker at his own naturalization Ceremony and I still remember what he said 41 years ago. Pardon if I paraphrase, but it has been a long time. He said "I was an Indian Citizen because I was born there. I could be a British Citizen if I desired because when I was born, India was still a British Colony. However, I am a student of government and after living in several countries, I CHOOSE to become an American Citizen because, though far from perfect, it is the best country in the world."

By the way, the course was "The Dynamics of Communist Revolution in Former Colonial Countries" and unlike many professors today, he was extremely anti-communist and very much a believer in US patriotism.
