Please watch video and tell me what's the right thing to do if you where a 3rd party in this situation.
1. If you witnessed the action.
2. If you were the gentleman walking in.

Absolutely. The thug could have easily killed him. I like to think that I would have drawn, yelled for the thug to stop a few times, and if he didn't, or he advanced on me, I would have popped him. If he ran out, I would have held fire. One never knows for sure until you are in that situation, but about thirty five years ago, I did have to draw on someone breaking down the front door of my apartment in Philly. They were literally 5 pounds of pressure away from dying and didn't know it.Stormvet wrote:Does a third party have the right to draw weapon and defend guy #1?

I disagree - everyone should be required to watch this video and understand the depravity that exists around them so they can better prepare to deal with it.Editor's Note: This video is graphic in nature and should not be watched by all audiences.
In the video, you can allegedly see Vanzandt beat up Archer.
