No more Russian AKs, no chance of them coming back. Will this effect Russian ammo as well?

So you should have said "I have no clue"

Here a link since you're living under a rock. Distrubitors are mixed on the ammo. Some saying its being shut off too. I was hoping someone here knew since most are pretty intelligent here. MOST.

I've read about the sanctions, but none of the articles I could find say anything about firearms or ammunition.

Do you have some inside info, or are you jumping to conclusions?

My my, there seems to be a bit of testiness in the air?

FWIW, Pawpaw, Mrs. Oldgringo just asked me what the "Russian sanctions" bill was about. I immediately said, "beats me".

I know. Everything I've read says there are going to be sanctions, but I can't find a word about what those sanctions will entail.

The bill I saw didn't mention firearms or ammunition. Searching for arms and weapons returned hits on WMD in the context of North Korea and Iran. Also a hit on Russia using its natural gas exports as an economic weapon. Nothing about small arms.

Imports are still subject to the Bush era ban so it may be more competitive to assemble them here. Palmetto has some nice looking AKs including a set with matching serial numbered AK and AR for less than a thousand dollars.

I've already got one of those. LOL

The problem is ammo availability, which can be intermittent and tends to be a bit pricey.
