Yep. You read that correctly. There have been no private citizen concealed handgun licenses granted in Hawaii
this century.
The number of current Texas CHL/LTC license holders equals approximately 86% of the entire population of the state of Hawaii; all children, women, and men.
And a trivia tidbit: if someone were to somehow get a license to carry in the won't-issue state of Hawaii, that license is issued by the county of residence and is valid
only in that county. There is no reciprocity among counties.
