Ban It!
Liberal web-rag, Vox.com, showed people 11 different firearms, then asked which ones should be banned.

Nearly 3 out of 4 Democrats (42% overall if you add Republicans) say the Remington 700 bolt-action rifle should be banned.

And I wonder what percentage of democrats had NO IDEA what they were looking at, but still had an opinion.

This is how the modern Democrat's mind (if you will excuse the assumption) works (if you will excuse the assumption).
If the Democrat doesn't want/care about something, the government should ban it. If the Democrat does want/care about something, the government must provide it, free.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

At least my Winchester Model 70's are safe

In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

I don't like dogs. One neighbor's dogs bark all the time. The other lets their pit bulls get out and they act aggressive and scare my wife. The dog across the street comes over and poops in my yard. Ban all dogs! Some people aren't responsible with their dogs, so nobody should be allowed to have one. I don't own any dogs, and I know very little about them, but I don't like them. They should all be confiscated by the federal government and be destroyed!

Re: Ban It!
What really bothers me is the willingness of so many Republicans to ban scary looking guns.

The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

And it's stored in your gun safe with the muzzle pointing UP, right?koine2002 wrote:He might have a conniption if he realized that a super-duper-mega-high-powered (the way he'd think) rifle was stored right under his home-office.

Re: Ban It!
With respect to the OP. Considering the source (Vox) I would question the fact that a Republican would participate with them. It would not be a stretch for some of their loyalist to present themselves as Repub's to push their agenda. That being said, in relation to your statement, I do agree.Liberty wrote:What really bothers me is the willingness of so many Republicans to ban scary looking guns.
