Chris Christie Loosens Restrictions: Gun Control Taking Too Many Lives

#1

Post by dhoobler »

On April 8 Governor Chris Christie (R) loosened concealed carry restrictions in New Jersey, pointing to the fact that the gun control status quo is taking too many lives in his state.

So, how many would be acceptable to the guv...?

He's being so moderate.

VP acceptable?

Politicians, are slime, no matter who...

I'm not at all even slightly religious, but if you are and believe in Satan, these people, everyone, are on his cosmic payroll.

They're the most despicable low lifes among low lifes, above and beyond every other criminal class.

Any yet, some buy into their obvious lies, even so far as to advocate "for them".

None of them are worthy!

Sounds like useless pandering, one still has to demonstrate a threat, to exercise their 2A rights. That's not changing anything but the wording, and won't allow any more people the right to arm themselves. The cesspool that is New Jersey has dug themselves so deep into restricting rights, they will need to throw out every politician, in the state to even begin to make realistic changes. He should have used his energy on a treadmill, because that was wasted.

Politicians roll in the muck of rhetoric and the public laps it up.

Am I being cynical?

Absolutely.

I've learned these monsters (and that's what they are) have enough voting dumbos (assuming the elections are honest, which in all probability they aren't) to stay in office.

See BHO for another reference.

Unfortunately, it's not useless pandering. At least it seems to work for him.

If the change goes through, it means “justifiable need” would be defined as “the urgent necessity for self-protection, as evidenced by serious threats, specific threats or previous attacks which demonstrate a special danger to the applicant’s life that cannot be avoided by reasonable means other than by issuance of a permit to carry a handgun.”
Right.... So.... What if the bad guy just pops up and tries to kill me without warning?
Apparently in NJ I still do not have the right to be prepared to repel that sudden, unprovoked, unforeseeable attack.

I am unable to express my disgust with polite words... so... here's an emoji. :banghead:

Somebody just showed him a focus group study that showed him losing support over New Jersey's draconian firearms laws.

Now, he wants to loosen up a bit.

They're going from awful to terrible.

"Current regulations require a concealed applicant to show “justifiable need” and define that as “the urgent necessity for self-protection, as evidenced by specific threats or previous attacks which demonstrate a special danger to the applicant’s life that cannot be avoided by means other than by issuance of a permit to carry a handgun.”

Irony - They require "urgent necessity for self-protection" then take months to issue, if you are lucky.
