Looks like most of the places they run. I wonder how this would stand up to a legal challenge.
Or who, besides the state, would have standing to bring such a challenge.

The way I read it, every place that a patient may walk into is restricted as no firearms.

You should see the campus map for UTMB in galveston. They practically have 98% of the place as off limits. The building my mother works in they don't even do patient care and are claiming exemption because the do Patient "simulation" there. what a load of...

Im not convinced it can hold up to court challenge. Though i do think they got it passed just so they can loosen the restrictions later.

So who has standing to contest these rules? And if you win, does the school have to pay your attorney's fees?

These bogus gun free zones keep popping up because the powers that be do nothing to stop it.

Now, let's hear how far we've come to stop this.

All i got was a survey asking if baylor college of medicine should opt out.

When i worked for baylor guns was one of those don't ask don't tell things. I know they didn't like people having guns but didn't seem to make a huge deal about it. Though the employee manual had the all weapons prohibited on baylor property clause. I always kept my gun in my car when i worked there. Thought almost all of the parking is owned by Texas Medical Center and not by the individual institutions. A lot of people don't even know some of the roads in TMC are actually private and not owned by the city of houston.
