As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

How to get your plastic with no waiting

Go to Kroger, ask for a shopper's card at the cash register or customer service, start immediately enjoying the savings.
Chance favors the prepared. Making good people helpless doesn't make bad people harmless.
There is no safety in denial. When seconds count the Police are only minutes away.
Sometimes I really wish a lawyer would chime in and clear things up. Do we have any lawyers on this forum?

Kroger's is pretty gun friendly.
On a more serious note, if someone is trying to get a valid license asap, you can get a permit from Arizona pretty quick (they have reciprocity with Texas), although I highly recommend getting a Texas LTC soon after to learn the laws and get GFSZA protection.

I know, that's why I posted it. The whole HEB 30.07 I'm taking my business elsewhere (to Kroger, no 06/07) to make a political statement for whatever it's worth.

I should have put it in the "waiting room" section.
