CNN finally has an op Ed worth reading. Taya Kyle weighs in

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

'Sniper' widow: Gun control won't protect us

Very long read but I can't think of anything I've read lately that would capture the issues we face today more succinctly. Really loved the Reagan quote.

Isn't her name Taya?

Just to correct the record... her name is "Taya" and not "Tanya".

No name-calling or fear-mongering. Just a calm, well-written explanation of her side of the story.
Thank you, Taya.

Great read. I'm surprised CNN published it.

No offense to my newly elected state rep but I'd love for her to be the next Susanna Hupp and represent Ellis County.

It does cause me to wonder, as we have no acquaintances in this regard, how other women whose husbands are in the military (or Nat'l Guard, Border Patrol, police?) feel about this issue.

This was very well written and of course, we all know she hit the nail on the head. However, reading the comments on CNN show that the other side will never get it.

I feel in my heart that this nation is being divided, on purpose, for an evil end goal. They are using guns as only a part of it, and it worries me a bit. I don't want to see another civil war take place here on our soil, but I feel it might if our economy collapses. The US citizens of the 1920's were much more mature to handle tough times... today.... not so much.

Mrs. Kyle, thank you for speaking truth in the midst of liar's.
