Texas open carry law

First of all the person who wrote this article is ignorant of the law.
But the real scary thing is the comments. People are actively saying they will call police and get them to go and shoot anyone open carrying, that all guns should be banned, that gun owners want to kill people of color, etc. Just really vulgar opinions overall.
Comments like "Texas, the lone brain cell state", "The police should shoot anyone carrying a gun, THEN ask questions", "I can't wait until this law is tested. The carnage will be awesome!!"(referring to police or gun owners shooting other gun owners who are carrying their guns).

Liberalism is a mental disorder. At least a small amount of the comments there have common sense.

Does accidental exposure when carrying concealed still even apply with the open carry law?

It shouldn't be a crime since the law says you can openly carry a partially or completely visible handgun. An exception was added to that part of the law that says it is a defense that the person exposed their gun if they had a LTC and was carrying it in a belt or shoulder holster.

Reading some of the posts to the article, I guess OK Coral style gunfights start at 1 second past midnight tonight
Unbelievable garbage from a so called writer who has no clue what he is talking about.

Unintentional exposure has not been a crime since September, 2013.

I went thru and read a lot of the comments until I just couldn't stomach anymore. It's really hard to believe the sheer hatred that a lot of those people have.
