It looks like they are going ahead with the "Gun Geo Marker" App.

After visiting their website, I was struck at how they claimed to respect the second amendment and such while displaying a very anti-gun twist to their directions for use. It basically allows anonymous people to out you and if any child hears or is told you have a gun, they should report you.
A few excerpts from the site:
The promotion of laws that both meet constitutional standards and protect the public also protect the second amendment. Until we can pass some more reasonable laws like closing the background check loophole, this is all we have.
Q: “Let me ask you, doesn’t this constitute and invasion of privacy that will lead criminals to the doorstep of legal gun owners?”
A: No to both questions. First, the Second Amendment and Constitution of the United States does not protect anonymous gun ownership (unless you built it yourself, all respect, and keep it hidden your house and not telling anyone.) Nor does the First Amendment allow for gun owners to stop others from speaking freely about dangerous sites they know of in their neighborhood. If a gun owner wants anonymity from any neighbors who they think might mark their locations (that is a already quite a bit paranoid), then it is the responsibility of the gun owner to keep their gun ownership a closely held personal or family secret.
Reading between the lines, it sounds like perhaps the author might support gun registration. After all, gun owners are paranoid and of course should never invite a neghbor out to hunt. Come to think of it, fish hooks have hurt me a few times in my life, so maybe I should also not ask my neighbor to go fishing. Gosh, the app author is making my social choices so much easier!

The cool thing is, the gun Geo marker app only has 10 downloads.
The counter protest app, Gun free Geo Marker, has 1000 downloads.
When in google play store, search for gun Geo marker and you will see both apps.

Here is an app I found in the App Store for Apple. Looks like all anti-gun businesses are marked whether 30.06 or gun buster sign.

No matter what they say this "Gun Geo Marker" App is anti gun and therefore anti 2nd amendment.
Notice they don’t request homes where medications or household items that are poison are left out, in reach of children.
They don’t even ask that homes with mean dogs or other dangers be posted.
In my opinion Brett Stalbaum is a loser that is just trying to market this and hopefully avoid lawsuits. I wonder if “Walkingtools.net Labortory at UCSD” has a few bucks in the bank that a good lawyer could get to?

With only ten downloads, I don't think he is doing much widespread damage.
