Didn't realize such a group existed. Glad to know not all docs are quacks.

Was the word "Responsible" in the group's title really necessary?

"Doctors for Gun Ownership" works just fine me.

Exactly what I thought. If you are writing about changing law, you should have a better understanding of current law.

Look again, he works in San Antonio. I have also seen a sign at Quail Creek stating that hospitals are off limits. Unfortunately, it isn't just out of staters that need educating.

Yes, it's code for "anti-gun" - like "safety", "common sense", "violence", etc.

In response, I think I'll start "Gun Owners for Responsible Surgery" - and tell doctors how to safely, responsibly and sensibly doctor and operate on people. Seeing as I know as much about thoracic surgery as they do about guns, it'll be only fair. For the children, of course - it's just "common sense".
The snark is strong in you today Andy.

I wrote to them, entire text available but stuff we all know, pointing out that the law changed in 2007 and they were spreading bad information.

I got a response:

Hi Jim,

Thank you for pointing this out. Dr. Edeen has acknowledged your info and we’ll be publishing his response on our web site this coming week.
