Know your enemy - this story outlines Bloomberg's plans to fight the NRA. He pulled the
figure of $50,000,000 out of the air with which to fight the NRA. He's also combining
some of his "anti" groups under a different name.
What a waste of money. Gunowners are much more likely to vote in candidates that are
2A-friendly.
Note to Bloomberg: It's a free country. You are free to blow your millions in any manner which you choose. :-)

I will note that although The Blooming Idiot seems to have an almost inexhaustible supply of money, the NRA can generate a huge number of highly motivated, single issue voters to the polls.

Would those contributions be deductible? Would the IRS give that charity a tax exempt status?

He could easily spend $50,000,000 a year for the rest of our lives and never run out, and he's just planning on wearing us down.
I note that the new organization has perverted the American Flag for his own use:

Probably.

Arrogant little piece of work, isn't he? That statement alone is almost guaranteed to keep him out.

If there was ever a doubt that Bloomberg is a fool, that quote about deserving to be in heaven should eliminate it.
Despite all his money, Bloomberg has a major problem. People will always fight harder when they are fighting FOR something than when fighting AGAINST something. American's will fight harder for their rights than Bloomberg and his emotionally charged, intellectually challenged mobs will fight to take those rights away.
He is pulling his two highly funded but relatively unsuccessful anti-2A groups together under one umbrella and throwing another 50 Million at them to make it all better. Yep, he is definitely a liberal. At the end of the day, Bloomberg fears obscurity far more than guns, so he will continue his actions as long as there is a camera in the room.

If you do not believe money talks then take a look at who is in Congress. He will change a lot of minds unless NRA can match his spending. Our votes are set. Liberal votes are set. He will target the. idle with campaign.

I've never understood how guns are the problem, or any tool for that matter. He should spend fifty million to help with youth programs in his area. Helping high risk individuals and poverty stricken youths would be a great way for him to help. Maybe it would help keep kids off the streets, and keep him out of the business of law abiding citizens' and gun owners'.
He is a snake, and wants to create a dystopian society.
