Everything I know about this guy is in the following articles.

Anyone else know him? Especially his position on certain bills that seemed to somehow not make it through the leg last couple times?

Joe Strauss has done an excellent job....

of keeping any pro gun bills from ever coming up for a vote. Time for him to go.

There were several others who decided they were going to challenge Strauss last time around.

Strauss has a lot of strong wealthy supporters. It's going to take a significant coordinated united effort to unseat him.

Support (donate) any conservative candidate who may run against him. I'm afraid the only way to remove him as Speaker is to remove him from the House.
