Florida Dems Seek to repeal Castle Doctrine

In Florida Dem's have proposed changes to the law that would not only repeal Stand Your Ground but completely eliminate the Castle Doctrine.

The outcome was that HB-4003 was soundly defeated in committee, thereby ending the effort to repeal Stand-Your-Ground in this year’s legislative session.

No doubt, but the mere fact that someone could introduce such a bill makes me shudder. How far we have come since the days of liberty.Charles L.
