This one will change the political balance in the CO Senate if the recall succeeds.

It appeared that while the original premise of the first two recalls was CO's outrageous gun control legislation, the final results reflected more issues than that. My reason for wondering is to consider the possibility of undoing those gun control measures. That would be HUGE in the National spotlight. I do realize that a lot of things have to go right to even get the GOP in control in CO again and then it would be a question of them wanting to spend political capitol on that gun control reversal. Still, it is an issue that seems to have resonated with voters and if this recall does work, it could mean more wins during next election.

I would like nothing better than to see CO's direction strike terror into the heart of every gun grabbing Liberal. Just thinking about it lowers my blood pressure.

A bunch of countys are trying to secede from Colorado. What would we call them Wyorado? Perhaps Colotexas? Dream on. Colorado can change it's name to Californado right now.

It appears that the voters might be having some buyer's remorse about some of their past decisions. One of the last recalls was in Pueblo in a heavily Democratic district and was obviously done by disgruntled Democratic voters. I would agree that like just about every other State, the Liberal urban areas in CO are controlling the State's politics but unlike Commifornia, there appears to be some hope that CO can start to right itself from its hard Left list.

Sometimes is takes something outrageous like COs gun ban laws to wake people up. We can only hope. If the Northern counties do secede, they should call the new State "Freeland".

Americans need a recall and quickly.

What the hey were people thinking in electing that psycho hag - and she's not even originally from Colorado, but New York City. Which may explain the influx of NY money into her campaign coffers. The good news is that she won her seat by only about 600 votes - motivated folks should be able to beat that and get her recalled.

"Numerous incidents from Senator Hudak’s past have come to light during the election homestretch, including a police complaint from an argument the first-term Democrat had with a 14-year-old girl over yard signs in a previous race, and video of Hudak saying Coloradans aren’t taxed enough.

Former Top Gun instructor Lang Sias, a Republican, is challenging Hudak in Jefferson County-based Senate District 19.

The yard sign fiasco relates to an incident in 1994 where Hudak, then running for an Arvada State House seat, got into a heated argument with 14-year-old girl over the fact that the girl’s mother replaced a Hudak yard sign with one of Hudak’s opponents.

Hudak had reportedly been driving through the neighborhood when she noticed the home of Joan and Rocky Germano had a yard sign for her opponent, Independent Joann Conte, where hers had previously been. Frustrated, Hudak pulled over feeling the need to inquire why the sign had been changed, she told The Denver Post at the time.

Confronting the Germano’s teenage daughter, Hudak demanded to speak with her parents. The girl told Hudak her parents weren’t home, but according to the police report, Hudak heard the girl’s older sister and pushed her way past the girl and entered the Germano’s home.

Hudak denies ever entering the home, but the Germanos filed a police complaint for first degree criminal trespass.

What Hudak doesn’t deny is what happened next. According to the police report, Hudak “took the Conte sign down and replaced it with her own Hudak campaign sign. E. Hudak then left the area.”

Joan Germano asked police to inform Hudak she was not welcome any more at the Germano residence.

A Denver Post article at the time quotes a neighbor backing up the teenage girl’s version of events. Neighbor Lowell Gee was quoted as saying “[Hudak] raised her voice loud enough to attract my attention, and I was across the street. Afterward, I went over and talked to the daughter. She was upset. She felt like she had been attacked.”

Hudak was fearful of the police complaint getting out to the media, she told police. Police records note that she “stated that she was concerned about the report being filed and that she was concerned the media would have access to it. Officer Mayfield explained to E. Hudak that the report could be accessed by the public.”

Senator Hudak did not respond to a request for comment or clarification on the incident.

The second incident revolves around a video sent out by the Colorado Republican Party last week of Senator Hudak on Colorado Public TV saying that Coloradans are wrong in thinking they are overtaxed.

“People in Colorado have to stop thinking we’re taxed to death, because actually we’re not. It’s the opposite,” said Hudak.

Hudak has been one of the leading champions of higher taxes in the State Legislature. She supported a $3 billion tax hike known as Prop 103 in 2011 — which was ultimately defeated by a wide margin.

Hudak has also backed tax increases that haven’t been written yet. The website Revealing Politics posted video of Hudak earlier this year professing support for a local tax increase that had yet to be developed.

Senate District 19 is one of the most competitive in the state, and it is unclear how Hudak’s vociferous support for tax hikes or her previous run-in with the law will affect the outcome of the race."

She's the one I'll delight in seeing recalled. Her nasty response to those ladies wishing to defend themselves from an attacker deserves to be recognized for what it is.

We can only hope that the campaign against her has enough money to get the yard sign and taxation matters into the eyes of the public. I do believe that elections can be bought with advertizing money from the outside and that those results are not at all a reflection of the voter's views on the current issues. Of course, politicians like Senator Hudak have a vested interest in making sure that the real issues never come to light.

It may come down to whose message is the loudest. Maybe one of the pro-gun groups in the Senator's area has a PAC that I contribute to. That is a far better use of my money since it could have a more direct impact on my rights (assuming a successful recall) than anything either of the National parties are doing to protect my rights now.

The taxation issue is definitely available for viewing by the inquisitive - dug it up while ago on Youtube and edited it in as a live link where info about the "second incident' starts. That clip is only 10 seconds worth, but, wow. Provided their new goofy balloting & residency procedures don't come into play and no third candidate gets involved to siphon off votes, yeah there's a good shot at tossing her to the curb.

The rape survivors who testified against a bill that would ban concealed carry on college campuses and who were disrespected by Hudak in the process reacted to the news that Hudak had resigned:
