Jerry Patterson's rights taken away?

I'm hearing lots of buzz about Jerry Patterson's upcoming appearance at the Texas Tribune Festival on September 28 at University of Texas in Austin, and how he won't be allowed to carry because it's a college campus. Ironically Patterson was calling for concealed campus carry during the special legislative session.
