КalifoЯnia: Passed Semi Auto Rifle Ban; Strictest Gun Laws

I haven't seen this topic in this forum yet, but this is getting ridiculous.

After Colorado, the KalifoЯnia lawmakers have lost all common sense and common decency...

This is Jag reporting in from sunny Santa Clarita, CA (for work, not of my own free will).

I can say the attitude I see here is a collective, "Meh". No one seems to care much - the liberals like it and the conservatives (met one in person, this guy in fact - http://professionalcoyotehunter.webs.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) don't really seem too concerned. The coyote hunter guy did say he was considering relocating to Texas, but only half heartedly, he seems to love California.

I showed my CHL to the group and one of the libs asked, "so what "need" did you have to show in order to get it?" I told him, "um, you pay your money and pass the background check - and it comes in the mail." He was flabbergasted.

People here just seem to go with the flow no matter the subject, like they have no say in public policy. It's odd, and I am ready to get home.

I grew up under such a regime, and trust me, this kind of apathy is not just a bad thing — it is EVIL.

Only bad things will result from it. I have seen it happen, and it will happen there.

Love my Texas!

Thanks for posting this. I put it on FB for my former military compatriots still stationed in California, and I included a link to Calguns.net so they could read the text for themselves.

This is bad because what happens in California doesn't always stay in California!!!

YUP - I said that for years writing letters and sending emails when CA passed SB23 in the late 90's..nobody including the NRA seemed to care. Now it is spreading across our nation.
