Wasn't it the Dems who emptied the mental institutions a couple of decades ago putting thousands of mentally ill people out on the streets homeless left to fend for themselves? Politicians in general have never been concerned about the mentally ill . . . not even now. They simply feed off of the emotional reaction of the masses and do things that help themselves keep their jobs at the next election. We have far too many pot smoking, liberal, artsy fartsy individuals in this country who have no concept of the costs others paid before them that afforded them the opportunity to become pot smoking, liberal, artsy fartsy individuals. What we need is a revival in the study of politics and war. A revival in the study of actual history, and in the price of liberty.
