Disappointed that John Cornyn has ? on the "Pledged to Oppose 2014 Funding" column. There should be a "Pledged" on the column.

My wife seems to have taken the "don't fund it" approach on my programs lately.

Wife & I have already signed the petition. My wife has significant health issues , we have noticed increasing reaction to the Affordable Care Act by her health care providers. The Medicare reimbursement standards have been reduced, and healthcare providers are either opting out altogether or coming up with "extracurricular" non-covered fees to make up the difference. Thank you OBAMA, and all your Socialist congressional representatives that voted for this mess. We are seriously considering dropping Medicare, and private insurance in favor of joining an association with flat fee structure .
ABSOLUTELY ! NO FUNDING FOR THIS OVERREACH that will ruin our healthcare system..

I signed it but all of these petitions and questionaires seem to be more to 1, get a mailing list 2, to get your money. This all seems like a gimmick and nobody really cares about the petition, only the $. My congressman does this, senators, all the politicians. They really don't care about the surveys in my opinion. But Obamacare is a wreck and needs to be destroyed. My humble opinion.

This a site endorsed by Ted Cruz, who plugged it himself on Michael Berry's show, and claimed to have gotten it rolling. It is fine.

I'm all for completely repealing the whole mess, but the reality is none of it will go anywhere. Any bill would have to pass both houses of congress and then be signed into law by his excellence. Somehow I don't see the senate getting on board, and I certainly can't conceive of any circumstance where BHO would kill his own pet project bill.

Once the full brunt of it hits America, the Dems may decide to be "heroes" and "refine" it just because their own mob of miscreant voters are having kittens over the way it fails to work the way they thought it would. But that will not happen until after Obama is out of office. He will never admit it is a failure. His healthcare and well being is assured. The rest of us are only political tools to manipulate.

You're misunderstanding the power of the purse clause. Remember when Newt shut down the govt?

Wouldn't be the first time that I've missed something or got something wrong....

NBD - I wasn't totally sure of what the plan entailed until hearing Teddy Cruz discuss it a few times. Basically the government's "permission" to operate and spend money expires this year, and congress usually rubber stamps a new resolution to allow the governments operations to be funded. What Cruz is trying to do is get a filibuster majority to only pass a resolution which would fund ALL of the government's operations except any funds earmarked for Obamacare. Newt did something similiar in the 90s to -Clinton. The libtards will stomp and shout, and have already started calling Ted Cruz a terrorist, the Taliban, and a no-government republican because he's trying to shut down the govt...
But...it can work...if it they refuse to pass the funding the govt, NON-ESSENTIAL services and offices will be forced to close...just like any other weekend. People will still get their SSI/welfare, and what not...though the media will cry otherwise.

gigag said it (3x) - and I agree.
I've singed the petition -
http://www.dontfundobamacare.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you want to defund obamacare, you should too. For the record I have not had any spam show up since signing it earlier this week. Results may vary.
