Humm, I was wrong. He is capable of telling the truth. Not that it changes my opinion of him.

The most transparent administration in history needs someone who can keep a straight face while uttering nonsense....

You know what's sad? The sheeple that put Obama in office have not changed their minds despite any of this. I don't believe any of this will stick to him. May Holder and Hilary will suffer some fall out but I doubt it.

Tin-foil hat warning: I worry that somehow, this will all back fire and we wind up seeing an Obama third term. Think about it; Hilary is completely discredited, Obama spreads more of his magic dust and the sheeple continue to believe he's innocent and the best man to clean up the mess that, obviously, Bush made.

Please God let me be wrong....

He's the Rockstar President, the President of the People. He can do no wrong. It's reprehensible.

But then there's that pesky Twenty-Second Amendment.

Barry must not have heard about what seems to happen to people who mess around with the Clintons.

Funny how none of those brain-dead liberal morons ® * seem to notice that the more Barry fixes on it, the worse the mess gets.

No offense, but it is tough to be a press secretary for Obama. It appears its going to get a lot tougher, now that the press is starting to ask real questions. I get the feeling the honeymoon is over.

Yeah, they're really afraid to infringe upon constitutional amendments...

Point taken.

However, I think it will be kind of hard to get the Electoral College and the Supreme Court to both play along.

Selective enforcement of the Constitution at its best.

And once it's all over; he'll get a $10m advance to write a book, charge $25K to do speeches, get a talk show on CNBC and make yet more riches as a political consultant. In Washington, no bad deed goes unrewarded. Competence and honesty need not apply here.... :banghead:

In the olden days White House functionaries weren't the story, the man holding the office of President was the story. Press Secretaries, Chiefs of Staff, Aides and Advisors were spear carriers, in the operatic sense. Now, and I'm thinking post Bush 41, they've become spear catchers, taking a shot for the team, falling on their swords to protect that office holder for whatever reason.
Since Steve Early created the modern Press Secretary position in the Roosevelt Administration there have been 31 men and women who have filled the roll. Here's how they shake out by Administration:
Roosevelt, 2. Truman, 5. Ike, 1. JFK 1. LBJ, 3. Nixon, 1. Ford, 2. Carter, 1. Reagan, 3. 41, 1. Bubba, 5. 43, 4. Barry, 2 to date.
Could there be a correlation between the strength of the Executive and the number of flacks he's needed to sacrifice?
Reagan lost the services of his main man tragically, I believe the "Bear" would have been his only press secretary had he not been shot.
Truman's picks were rock stars in the press or political world, Pulitzer Prize winner/Chairman of the DNC/Editor/ran everything for FDR, and moved on to greener pastures and one died.
LBJ had his first resign over his disagreement with Johnson's policies.
Ike just played golf, no worries.
Bubba and 43? Barry, how long will Jay last?
