Is Chicago softening its stance on guns?

Currently museums in Chicago are not able to display historically significant unloaded firearms they have in their collections.
A bill has been introduced to change that.
Hmm, I wonder if the guns they have in their collections currently comply with the law.
It would create the museum loophole.

"I don’t know if someone's going to find ammo for a German handgun from World War II all that readily," Clarke said, referring to the Levine's pistol Burke highlighted Wednesday.
The gun in question is a Walther PP.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to find .32 ACP these days.

Um, not so much. Altho this link does not address the museum issue, this cop-blog in Chicago shows you how Rahmburg is viewing handguns with the deadline for allowing concealed carry in the state coming up:

You probably can't get ammo for these anymore. I mean if I have to toss my iphone in 2 years, you don't possible think some pistol from WWII or WWI will still work, right?
