COLORADO SPRINGS, Apri 30, 2013—Recall petition drives are well under way for four pro-gun control Democrats in the Colorado state legislature.
One of the recall targets is the President of the Colorado Senate...

My favorite part of the story...
Angela Giron, the fourth, is in a similar situation. She is in heavily Democratic Pueblo, but the response to the recall, according to one activist, is amazing. At a rally in a Kmart parking lot Saturday, many people said they did not own guns, but simply wanted to support Second Amendment rights.

People drove by honking and waving. There were very few negative responses.

When Giron held her town hall meeting in February before the gun votes, there were nearly a thousand people at the event, all demanding that she not vote for these laws. Now that people see that she does not care at all about her constituents’ opinions, they want her gone
GO CO.!! :patriot:

I think you should keep on. When they sober up from the weed they were smokin' they will change their minds. :biggrinjester:

:iagree: That is 5 out of 5 on the awesome scale.

I love the story about the Hudak running into the woman pushing her recall petition at the supermarket. It is shame the woman didn't tell Hudak that after the recall vote, she was going to be "statistically" history! What a loon Hudak is.

Let me know if you need me to go check on it for a week or two this summer. I'm handy with the fix-it stuff too...

I'm hoping CO gets back to sanity before I get ready to retire, although the trend is definitely in the wrong direction, even if they throw the bums out next election.
Still, there's hope.

If the citizens of CO do what Americans did in the '96 mid-term elections (after passage of the '94 assault weapons ban), then it will be a LONG time before any CO Democrats are dumb enough to try that again. The fear of losing their elected seats is the only thing that truly motivates them.

Today was fun. A young guy came by today and I explained I had already signed it. I then asked if he wanted a little help. He was kind of confused but I explained that he was going off the voter rolls that say if a house or person is dem or republican.

I asked if he wanted some dem votes. So off we went through the hood. most know my cars and where I live because almost everyone has to drive by my place. So I would explain who I was and then ask for there signature. Out of 20 houses that were dem only 2 refused to sign it. I then left him to go hit the republican houses.

You have a great friend that can sucker the Dems to sign a recall petition. I'd try that in my hood, but I don't think we allow democrats in and if one sneaked in, they sure would sign for fear of being outed. :biggrinjester:
