Bring it back all you want. If somehow it passes the senate, it's DOA in the house.

Sick and Tired of them grabbing for my gun rights. We all need to put it on the calendar to call our reps at least once a week to tell them we don't want any more gun laws that infringe. Period.

There needs to be a bill that goes through that says wants a topic is shot down it cannot be brought up again for a set amount of years..

It better be or we are in more trouble than we realize!
2014 better get here quick while there is still at least a part of responsible government working. If we don't hold the House and take the Senate, this Country (as we once knew it) will be history, never to return again.
Even if we do manage to hold the House and take the Senate, we have to weed out these RINO's and expose them for what they are (spineless hacks).
We MUST get voter ID passed so it will be more difficult for the current administration to rig elections!

They will keep trying full blown legislation or piece by piece as amendments on other...the battle is going to be a lengthy one.

That is why many legislators in Washington are desperate to get some kind of immigration reform passed. They want access to millions of voters who are now beholden to them for being able to stay legally in this country and also eventually obtain citizenship. Quid pro quo....

McCain was re-elected in 2010, so will serve until 2016, at which time he will be 80. Do you think he will run again?
Given his health issues, I have to think he will not. He's put a LOT of miles on that body.

I would bet the grabbers try to sneak any number of gun bills into some otherwise "pass thru" bills.

Good point. May explain why he's finally thumbing his nose at gun owners after probably secretly wanting to for years.

The anti-gunner legislative campaign has been an ongoing war my entire life, and will continue for the rest of my life. We won this most recent battle, but the war is never over.

No doubt, they'll be back. They'll take a look at what they thought was a slam dunk and modify their tactics again. All you can count on is that they'll never give up and that we'll need to maintain our vigilance and membership in the pertinent organizations.

Gun makers have the enough resources to have their GE Capital. Caving to those pressures are counter productive to the banks.
