See? This is why I can't live in a liberal state

If I had kids who went through this class, I'm really not sure how I'd react. Forced sexual activity is rape, even if the person doing the forcing doesn't participate. At the
very least, I'd be demanding that statutory rape or sexual abuse of a child charges be filed against the curriculum's author, the teacher, and the school's leadership.

This is what I said....Everyone on facebook is saying how terribly inappropriate....I say this is sexual harrassment at minimum on the part of the admin. You don't make another girl ask another boy or girl for a kiss. This is way way way over the line.

It may be over the line for you, but for the collectivist communism educational system that will continue to invade and take over government schools it is the norm.
The perversion of amerika.

In the liberal mind, there are no boys or girls, men or women, we are uni-people, completely inter-changable and will be treated as our overlords see fit.
Resistance is futile.
That is all.

If the point of the exercise was to help them learn to say no to unwanted sexual advances, how is that being taught by forcing them to comply when their teachers require them to do something that's uncomfortable to them related to the subject of sex? Wouldn't it make more sense to let them say "no" and respect it then and there, rather than teaching them that you can't say no regardless of how uncomfortable you are? Your boundaries only have to be respected at the point that the teachers feel they're valid?
Guess I'll just chalk it up as yet another reason we're homeschooling.

Abraham, I agree with you that the hard-core that run the political left, and thus the Democrat Party, have this as their ultimate goal. They want the "untermensch", aka lumpenproletariat, as one faceless, formless mass that they can use as interchangeable drones, like bees in a hive, like the Borg characters. Of course, their elites will not live like that, though, because they have to have the good life to be able to run that sort of a society. Orwell and Huxley may have indeed been socialists, but that is why their warnings are so important...it was so disgusting, even they couldn't stomach it.

I'd like to see them try to force a Muslim kid to do that. May be a good way to get that teacher off the planet (without a head).

I think that the main goal was to teach them "tolerance and understanding" of homosexuals. In any event, it is a good thing that I don't have children in school. If I did, and their teacher pulled a stunt like that, I would be in prison for a long, long time.

"To avoid having teachers sexually assault children
as part of the class" shouldn't have to be on the list of reasons to homeschool.

You'd think, wouldn't you?
I spent all of three years in the public school system and even in that short time managed to get stuck with a high school teacher who graded according to the skimpiness of his female students' clothing. It's really something when the cheerleaders who can't find Africa (or anything else) on a map are making better grades in geography than the honors students who know the capitol of Lithuania. He never actually did anything to me (aside from give me the creeps and bad grades), but his behavior was well known among other students and apparently counselors at some of the middle schools warned their students not to get into his classes. My parents and I met with administrators and complained multiple times throughout the year. They'd look at my grades and my work, adjust my grades to better suit my work, and pretend the issue was resolved. I also had an English teacher who made fun of me in front of the rest of the class because my parents had me opt out of reading a book that included some graphic material they didn't feel was appropriate. When it came time to discuss the book in class, she'd tell me to go to the library so that they wouldn't "sully my virgin ears." And this was at a "good" district here in central Texas. Yeah, I'll take care of my kids' education myself, thanks.

Oh, but that's a no-no. It might offend them since it's against their religion. Yeah, I know, but that doesn't matter to them.

Nonsense like this really makes my redneck glow. I think I will sit my granddaughters down and tell them if a teacher ever tries to force you to do something stupid or offensive, put a sweet smile on your face, look them in the eye and say "@$&# you". There are worse things than being suspended, being indoctrinated by fools is high on my list.
Mamabear you are a wise woman. Homeschooling or private schools are the way to go. Unfortunately that is not a decision I get to make for my granddaughters.

Obviously you weren't a good student because you failed to learn the two primary lessons of our public school system: conformity and obedience.
