More attacks on your liberty in the works

The administration has a plan to try to "encourage" people to move into the cities by starving suburbs from public funding and delaying road construction that enables people to live away from the cities.

The beauty of the Office Of the President is s(he) does have a term limit so the bad ones eventually leave. Now if we can get that for the other 535.

That man is poison the the American way of life. Dems would like nothing better than to force us all into the cities.....where they can have better control over us......and then take over the management of everything outside of the cities. Really, its like they dream of bringing about the end of civilization, not its perpetuation....which would require populations be able to spread out away from the most crowded areas.

The liberal-progressives dream of a park-like utopia with them in control of just a fraction of the population there is today. They will have the vast bulk of the remaining humanity rounded up into hive-like cities to make control easier. The food will be grown through automated means, and with a lower population who are allotted only the exact amount of calories they need to perform whatever work they are given by the liberal-progressive elites, there will be a lesser need for farmland, too. These people want the Garden of Eden but they don't want God in it. I'm not saying every liberal-progressive believes that stuff, or wants to do that, but their elite leadership most certainly does, bank on it.

If the shoe fits, they can wear it...BTW, Logan's Run was loosely based on the book "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley. Prophetic, in some ways.

Bottom line - it's all about the money. That's what it is.
They want a captive tax base that will live, work and conduct commerce expressly inside city limits. They don't want money leaving town.
The cities have been bleeding that base to the suburbs & countryside for decades - and for good reason - and the best plan they can come up with to try and reverse that is a page from the soviet playbook. Complete dismissal of free enterprise, which speaks volumes as to who they are and what they are about.

There will be no soda either. But there will be Soylent Green once they figure out that is another way to reduce the carbon footprint of the subjects.

All joking aside, the goal of absolutely controlling the population is indeed the goal of this. It makes me sick to think of it. Our schools are trying hard to squash every individualistic behavior of our children. Our government wants our children under the care of the government as soon as possible and it isn't to teach them to think for themselves. It's to turn them into good little obedient left wing dems who will embrace these ideas completely.

Maybe ted Kazinsky had a good idea by going off grid, well except for that bomb thing he had going.
