Rangel: Millions of kids being shot down by assault weapons

I’m ashamed to admit it but its politics and its money, The NRA has taken this position, there is no reason, there is no foundation. There is no hunter that needs automatic military weapons to enjoy the culture of going hunting.
But you know it’s really basically the absence of the voices of good people. I cannot believe that politicians are afraid of the NRA, if they thought for one minute that the churches and the synagogue and the priest and the ministers were saying "Hey! Do the right thing and we have your back.”
We're talking about millions of kids dying — being shot down by assault weapons, were talking about handguns easier in the inner cities, to get these guns in the inner cities, than to get computers. This is not just a political issue, it’s a moral issue and so when we condemn the NRA we should not ignore the fact that a lot of people that have taken moral positions have been solid on this big one.
You really have to enjoy lying to lie this big. The first sentence though is pretty funny: Rangel is ashamed that politics and money go together. How can you shame a pathological liar with no shame? Now that is truly funny. Charlie Rangel.

At least you don't have to wonder why Big Sis won't tell Congress why she is buying the 1.6 billion bullets.
With people like this in Congress, why tell them anything?

Don't you just love the way the press NEVER challenges these liars when they start throwing out made up numbers? It's no wonder that trust in the press is at an all time low.

Some female Washington insider, in another example of preposterous math, recently said
that if the sequester were to go into effect that "170 million jobs would be lost".
OK, the US population is about 310 million. Some are children, some are retired.
I'm not sure that there are even 170 million jobs in the US. Sheesh!!
