And if you take even a cursory look at history, you will see that FAR greater tragedy occurs when TYRANNY, rather than LIBERTY is the rule. Makes you wonder why the libs and progressives hate the thought of personal liberty.....

Doesn't make me wonder at all.
Liberalism, proogressivism, socialism, communism, are all about POWER and CONTROL and MAXIMUM GOVERNMENT.
Liberty means minimal government.
