Drugs Schools Guns mental disorders
Every drug has side affects some of them are helpful some are real trouble. I'm no Doctor, but I think the drug companies put new drugs out too fast in order to make a profit. Millions of school kids are given drugs by force due to failing grades in school. This is often called attention defecit disorder. The gov wants to make it illegal to own guns with such a disorder because the patient is more prone to violence. Is it really the treatment that causes violent tendancies or is it a true mental condition it is hard to say which. It is not natural to kep a kid behind a desk being fed propaganda for 6-8 hours a day. I guess seeing thru what the gov wants kids to think is a disorder and should be treated with drugs. Then no guns because of the mental defect of being able to have a little independent thought. Our schools are unfit to send Children to, why not teach them useful trades instead of propaganda then we would actually have an educated population

Very sensitive issue ad there is[googlevideo][/googlevideo] sizable part of the society lived with AD or ADHAD. Many outgrew their condition and many more are the smartest you can meet. Our schools do consider students with said condition, special needs students and will never consider a forced treatment.
Those kids who are treated do respond very well with treatment.

my issue with the whole ADD thing is...they say this a new epademic and more and more people are having it.Personally i think its been around for a long time it was just never diagnosed properly or not at all. Now they know what it is they think everyone has it.so i dont subscibe to this being some new thing.
Its about the same thing as vacines.Everyone got on this big thing about them having mercury in them. well guess what?eating one can of tuna has several times more mercury in it then you will ever get from a vacine.almost all of them have no mercury in them what so ever for the last SEVERAL years.and people dont check on the facts and make some blanket statement and everyone now thinks its fact.kind of like anti gun people who say things and they have no clue what they are talking about.

Re: Drugs Schools Guns mental disorders
Looking back some 35 yrs ago, I see myself like many "gifted" kids who are now labeled AD/HAD. Note, the condition varies a lot and back in the days no one called us SE kids or having AD/HAD. We were just "a bit" more active students who could not sit tight for a while. Teachers were puzzled to see us having lack of attention and at the same time, sharp like a whip.
Some kids had difficulty learning and memorizing books (due to AD and lack of focus) but were very quick to learn math and physics. With time, we learned to skim over books and learn to solve problems rather than learn how to to repeat the solutions.
With Adulthood, we learned more about our unusual "character". The more we learned the more we were able to deal with our "gift". Never being medicated and never labeled as violent. Who came up with this label? We may be more aggressive and assertive and Type-A personality. Or, the only thing I see is the character of leadership in those young kids.
